Email sitting on the server

Exchange server has been set up and everything is working fine so far. The accounts are accessed over the internet, and I can send email no problem and the person that it is sent to receives it ok, but when they reply or send me a new one I can not receive it. if I look on the exchange server the emails are sittig there, but I cannot receive them

Verify that the recipient policy is set correctly in EMC. Also verify the SMTP configuration including the e-mail addressesin EMC. Verify the permissions as well.
