When a caller makes the call to an extension and the mobile rings, you see the main number of the company in the screen.

I am told it's not possible to display the caller id number in the mobile phone, because the connection to the mobile is setup from the regular extension.

Correct?

But since you can see the company's main number on the mobile phone, is it possible to display the extension number from your regular work extension on the EC500?

(So you know it's a call from work)
 
Mine shows the extenstion on my Cell Phone while a co-workers phone does not and they are set up exactly the same. I think it has something to do with your cell phone carrier. He has Cingular/A&T and I have Sprint.
 
yeah ill have to look into that

also im gonna check out the configuration set and setting it to pbx instead of network

see if that changes anything
 
Same deal hear in Ontario, If you have Bell as your Cell or Black Berry you get the ext number on your set but with Rogers they will only pass 10 digits.
