We have had LOTS of these messages too. What did help (but not totally fix the problem) was updating the firmware and drivers on the fibre backup cards. Also - turn off everything that might talk down the SCSI channel - stop the Compaq survey service, foundation agent - and within compaq agent stop it polling for SCSI info
I should have said that the drive resides in the PDC which is also used for e-mail. The server itself is an Acer Altos 500 running Win2k Server. Are there any particular service/other programs that I need to check?
