I am using CR10 Oracle 9.
The report I am creating is displaying some charts that were created in another application and they are giving them to me in .jpg format.
Is there anyway to link this into the report dynamically so that every month when they update the .jpg it will refresh in my report?
Most of the documentation that I saw out there said this is only available in XI or above.

I managed to do this in CR10 but what I had to do was create an Access Database, and I had to create a table which I inserted each of the jpgs into one field, and in the other field I duplicated the unique identifier in my SQL database into the table in the access DB, then pulled the table from the access DB into the report, and linked these two fields. To do it this way it means you need to have a field which can be the same in both, and that you can use to pull in the appropriate jpg.

But, it was not exactly ideal, and running the report becomes slower and your extra database me be pretty big if you have a lot of pictures, but it could be a method to consider if you don't want to have to get CR11.

One other option for older versions is to use the external function provided by the Chelsea in Australia:
