dump issue

I'm attempting to dump a 5GB sybase database using dump database and half way through its failing with the following error:-

Backup Server: 4.145.2.22: [3] Error for device '/devs/retevision/casema_cust91.dmp'. Error writing to archive device /devs/retevision/casema_cust91.dmp. Attempted to write 55296 bytes, 18431 bytes

How can I resolve this issue?

The file system I'm dumping to is created for largefiles
 
You are probably using a very old version of Sybase that doesn't support files larger than 2GB

You need to dump to more than one stripe.
 
Yeah its 11.9.2 and I came across the stripe option the other day, one less thing to worry about:)

 
I used the stripe option and it worked like a dream:)
