How about this for a dubious rhyme? Pulp's 'Dishes';-

I am not Jesus
Though I have the same initials
I am the man who stays home and does the dishes.

Know any more?

[cheers] & all the best.

Depends on your accent. William Blake wrote
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fierful symetry

Spoken in a Cockney accent, this rhymes fine.

An old man [tiger] who lives in the UK

Please forgive the following...

Do bias rhymes, at certain times
Part kids from one another?
I say, let the funny kids play
And swing with all their might,
The golf ball soars, and on par fours,
Some reach the green in “tu-tu.”

Though the other duffers laughed,
The dancers thought them daft,
“After all,” said one prancer,
“This is a dance club” isn’t it?”

But from the rough,
A black bird emerges,
Unable to control its urges,
And despite its teacher’s preaching,
From the green, its beak just reaching,
Removed the ball, to its tiger woods.

Said the Master, in his green jacket,
If I see that birdie again,
“I will whack it!
I’ll tee off on it like never before,”

But said the Raven, Nevermore.

One of the masters of "questionable rhymes" is Tom Lehrer. He used many of them in his songs. He rhymed:

quibbled and ribald (pronounded ribbled)

uncut and unsubtle (pronouced unsut - tle)

(ironically) line and rhyme

philately and Lady Chatterly (pronounced phil latt ely)

There are MANY more. Any other Tom Lehrer fans out there?

I'm a Tom Lehrer fan. TW3 is his best album.

Good Luck

Would you believe I found the Tom Lehrer Song Book at a flea market in Warner Robbins, GA about 8 years ago. It has a song in there I'd never even heard. He wrote it for Sesame Street. If I can find which box it's packed in I'll dig it out.
