DTMF issues on MM711 Trunk Groups on g350's

I'm having the following problem:

I have 5 separate sites with 5 different LEC's. Each of these 5 sites have a CO Trunk Group with 4 to 8 analog telephone lines each. I'm running CM 4.0

Intermittently at each of these 5 sites, the DTMF tones entered by a caller into an automated attendant are not recognized correctly.

Example Vector steps

01 collect 3 digits after announcement 12345
02 route to digits with cov y

When I do a trace on each TAC and watch what happens I get the following results:

I enter 456
The system routes me to 445 (The 4 was duplicated.)

Or

I enter 456
the system tries to route me to 56 (The 4 was not recognized)

I have been going around with Avaya and a few of my LEC's and we can't seem to find the problem.

I also have the same exact logic in several other similar sites but they have ISDN Trunk Groups on MM710 cards. It works as designed on those sites.

Does anyone have any ideas on what is wrong with my 5 MM711 sites?

its probably more your gateway MGP firmware. You didn't say if these are G350's, G700's, or what, but I would upgrade the gateway firmware, and make sure your MM711 is at the current firmware version for that HW version MM711 you have, H20 is at FW73 now, H30 is at FW91

That's where I would start...

I have been told by an Avaya business partner that the g350 can have issues if there is no T1's for a sync source. You may want to verify what you are using for a source, I would expect it is an internal souce. With no T1 you don't have too many options.

I agree with telecomturner. I've seen this type of problem with systems that don't have the sync set.

Do a change sync and se what you have set.

Correct me if I'm wrong telecomturner and inerguard -- I think I only need to set my sync source if I'm using a T1 or similar type of trunking.

My only trunks on the five sights having problems are CO or POTS lines, not T1's

Mitch672 -- I'm checking my rev levels now. I will let you know what I find.
