First of all i would like to say how much i love this site

Im currently redesigning my website using Frames this time instead of Layer and everything was going grand. My problem is that my Drop down menu is appearing behind a different Frame which mean i cant see it.I have tryed Arrange and Move to front and that doesnt work. Im puzzled can anyone help me??

you opened the nastiest can of worms (frames) when it comes to any decent coded html.
but, if you insist try using this script:

What do you find wrong with using frames seems simple enough to me??Is there anyway i can modify my menu just using Dreamweaver??

What do you find wrong with using frames"
Your post here is one of the issues...the more you work with them the more you will discover.Frames themselves work just fine in controlled environment (eg. web interface to a hardware or intranet app etc.) but the problems arrise when you try to add more than 'basic' functionality to your site; not the mention trying to develop dynamic site.
Sorry, no love form DW as it is not a DW issue nor your menu...it's the frames and their behaviors.
Why are using frames? Is it only for the looks?
Post an url and you may get more help with 'how to get away from frames' vs. hand-coding and code snips and fixes that frames require.Think of it as buying a british car and then wanting to move the stearing weheel on the left side...sure it can be done, but is it worth the effort?

Sorry to be the one to bare the bad news...but there was only one horse left so I jumped on it :)
All the best!

Sorry I misread the date on this thread - when I saw FRAMES I thought the thread must be from around 5 years ago!

Ok heres a quick example to whats goin on:
Scroll over the Senior button and thats my problem.

I dont undrstand the problem with frames, before this when i wanted to add a page to my drop down menu i had to change ever single page on my website(50 pages approx), which took ages, but now with frames all i have to do is change the one page.

Can you recommend another way then??Apart from frames?

Really thestickman, people mean you well when they mock the frames....nothing agiainst you man.
In your case to show the fly-out menu u can:
a. have it fly-down over other links below
or
b. make your 'left' frame wider and then fill/decoreate the space with something

this look can also be accomplished with (as suggested) by templates and some scrolling layers or even the lesser of the 2 evlis Iframes.
Bottom line, the best advise you will get here is to move away from frames.
Take care,
All the best!
