On our network in the office we have some computers running XP, and a couple (newer) computers running Vista, including one new computer that we just got that came with Vista.
Today, for the first time I printed a Publisher 2007 document from the new (Vista) computer. I was surprised to see dramatically different printing results from earlier versions of the same documented I had printed from an XP computer (same printer).
Objects filled with shades of gray appeared pixelated instead of a uniform fill color, and pictures appeared more pixelated as well (pictures were also darker in some instances and lighter in others).
I went through advanced options in print settings, and the settings appear to be the same (600 dpi).
The program is the same (Publisher 2007), the printer is the same, the document is the same. This makes me think that the difference between XP and Vista must be responsible.
Am I right? Is there anyway to fix this problem? Having upgraded to a new printer, I'd hate to downgrade my print quality...
