I have a customer that has a domain. The settings for daylight time to automatically be updated are not checked nor on the dc. Their is only on server

On a desktop when I open a command prompt and time net time. I get the current time which is correct.

However when I check the box to automaticcaly update time for daylight savings time. The time jumps ahead an hour. The when I type net time at a command prompt I get the time on the server and the local time. The time on the server is an hour ahead.

How can I fix this so that all computers have the correct time and are set for the correct settings for daylight savings time?

Also need to add that when the client sends an email the time in the time sent column is 1 hr ahead

1. Check under Control Panel ->Date and Time. Is the time zone correct on both the server (DC?) and the XP machine?
2. Where is the server pulling its time from?
3. Where is the XP machine pulling its time from?

Your XP machine should be pulling its time from the server and the server should be pointing to an outside source for its time.

Hope this helps.
