Some tips please. How can you dock a VB form to the associated Extra! session it runs in, or is this not possible?

I am forever having to bring up my VB form and then go and get the Extra session. I have add a workaround which when you double click on the VB form it pops the Extra Session to the top. However would be really good if they where always tied together.

The other option of course is to some how have the Extra! Session embedded into the VB form to start with. Is this possible?

Many thanks for any help.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. Do you want the VB form to look to the user to be the same program as the Extra session? I'm not aware of how that's possible.

You found one work around, but possibly another is to put the code you have in form double click into the Form Activate event. Then every time the VB form is activated it should fire and bring Extra to the front.

Most people in our office have Extra at the front all day every day so this just isn't an issue.

There are lot of Form docking examples in the VB Forums. The method is the same for docking to any window (IE Extra ect. ect.) A search for dock / docking should get you what you need.

[thumbsup2] Wow, i'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time.
I think I've forgotten this before.
