I dont know if anyone can help but I keep on comming across the following error while importing HPUX to my new array:

pvnum vg[0] pvnum (dev -t 0x1f032000) is powerfailed

This has now happened on 2 arrays and different disks in slot 5.

If anyone could shed some light on this I would be ever gratefull.

Siwray,

Most likey hardware issue with Slot 5 causing powerfail error, prob loose connection...

Occasionally powerfail messages do occur due to timeout value in LVM (see man page on pvchange -t option), but I would go for faulty hardware.
