I have 13 channels provisioned in a BCM 400 R4.0. Trunk type is a T1. The carrier is providing service via a BIS T1 through a VINA Box. The carrier is directing the DID range to the last 4 channels of the T1. Outgoing calls work fine and the Main number rings into the operator over the first channel just fine. DID calls never seem to hit the BCM when viewing lines through the BCM monitor.

Since this is a T1 how did you program the channels.E&M/DID/GROUND?

Well I just provisioned the channels I needed. Under Telephony resources I selected T1 for my trunk module for BUS 5. Where would I the channels on an individual basis? I did provision only the channels I needed.

You will need to program the channels you are using for DID's
as E&M with auto answer.

The BCM monitor never shows the call reaching the BCM. When I select T1 as the trunk type in Telephony resources, I only see where I can provision or unprovision a trunk. Where to I tell it whether it is E&M with auto answer?

Go to active physical lines and select the channels you are using as DID's I believe by default they come up as loop start.
