I need some help passing DID's over an IP trunk, it does not seem to work the way I think it would.
Site A has the PRI.
Site B has users with DID numbers on Site A's PRI.

4 IP trunks in place and connectivity established.

I cannot have my Rec'd # match my destination code for the extension at site b, so how do I pass the call to Site B?

Use line Redirection on site "A".
Example:
User on site "B" with DID of XXX-1234
Call comes into site "A" PRI (1234) on Target Line XXX.
You redirect Target Line XXX to go out your IP trunks to site "B".
Call comes into Target Line XXX on "B" side and goes to the phone with that Target Line assigned.

Can my extension at site b be 1234 in the scenario you describe?

It won't let me put in 1234 as the redirect to; it says it is out of service.

It won't let me create a destination code of 1234 that routes to the ip trunk, because there is a conflict of rec'd # of line 272....

Try this:

remove the received digits of 1234 on line 272.

Build 1234 as a destination code pointing to a route (defined as public) that routes over your VOIP trunks. Don't forget to add 1234 to the "IP trunk digit routing table" if you are in direct mode. The DNIS digits will come in on the PRI and be routed to the IP trunks via the destination code/route. Also, don't forget to set your remote access packages so the PRI has access to the IP trunks.

Line redirection ended up working. A new destination code of 8 pointing to the IP trunk pool was required.

Line 272's redirect number was then entered as 81234. Feels a bit hodge podge, biv343 I will try your way next time.

Thanks for the help and ideas.
