Greetings,

As you can tell, I'm new to this. The previous owner has left for greener pastures and training isn't on the horizon (yet.)

So, I need to act the ACNT thing to key 5 on some 3904s and remove it on others and of course, I have no clue.

So, any help is appreciated, and please, as detailed as possible would be even better.

Thanks!

that is kinda complicated in my opinion, I never like to CHANGE an ACD set. I was always told it causes some corruption, so I personally would prt the TNB to see whaat it has on each key then deacquire it if you have CC and then out it and rebuild it with the desired keys, others may have a different opinion

Thanks,

Buddy

A possible word of warning:

If this is an ACD set, and the ACNT key is being used, it sounds like Symposium / CCx is active.

Deacquire before any changes.

What are these books you speak of? A link, if they are on-line would be much appreciated.

What's the best practice?

Again, there are some phones I have to add the ACNT key, and key 5 (as far as I can tell) isn't occupied, see below:

KEY 00 ACD 6290 0 6158
AGN
01 NRD
02 MSB
03 SCR 55263 0 MARP
CPND
NAME Ralph Kramden
XPLN 15
DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST
04 SCR 2263 0 MARP
05 ADL 12 3
06 ADL 12

Again, thanks for your time!
