I have deleted some forms in Access 2002 and now I can not delete the class modules. when I open the VB window - the deleted forms are still displayed in the project window and they are causing all sorts of error messages.

When I click on them to try to remove the code behind them, I get the error message The form "name" is misspelled or refers to a form that doesn't exist etc...it refers to macrosbut I do not have any.

I also get a module not found error message.

any suggestions on how can I fix this?

My first port of call would be a compact and repair. If that doesn't work I'd import all objects into a new blank MDB file.

Yes thanks for that - it looks like that is my only option.

Create new forms, name them exactly as the deleted ones, save them, then delete all code behind them, save them, then compact & repair(eventually decompile the project) then delete them from the project.

Import is a good option, but it changes the project name...
