I have an issue when a user is sending an email out. She is getting Delivery delayed:Reminder --

I have tried using the MailFlow Troubleshooter but when I put in the info like exchange mailserver Global catalog server, Sender SMTP, Receiptient SMTP and let it run I am not getting anything helpful. It just tells me the Active dir site, current config. No error or anything helpful. Is there something else I can do to see why this is happening? The users exist and have valid emails.

What I am noticing is that to all the people the user sent the email to and got delayed Delivery ALL have a X500 address. Would this be causing an issue and can I remove it without creating even more problems?

x500 is used for legacy co-existence. I think you can safely remove it if you are solely on Exchange 2010.

Can you post this "Delivery delayed" reminder you are talk about ? Also when performing message tracking, where does the mail get stuck?

Message tracking for me is not working. I put in the mailbox to search and I just keep getting the Red X.

Are you using the Message Tracking tool, or the Tracking Log Explorer tool? You should be using the Tracking Log Explorer. Since you mention getting a "red x", I suspect you are using the Message Tracking tool.

When all else fails, read the book!
