I have read some conflicting threads about being able to have delay annc capability using a 12 port card in the Merlin Msg. Has anyone ever set this up?? Thanks!

Not sure of your question. The answer is Yes - if the Messaging is Release 2.5 or higher you can program some of the voicemail ports for DAS (Delayed Announcement Service).. They recommend using ports 9 thru 12 for DAS - and the bottom 8 for VM - but you can use any kind of split you want - depending on how many ports you need for each service (VM vs. DAS).

Sorry for the delay Tom- I was on vacation. My ? was can you use any of the ports on a 12 port Messaging for DAS. I read some conflicting reports on this site saying with a 12 port card you can't and another thread saying you can.Catalyst says you can't. I was trying to find out for sure before I go out to my cust.

Hi! My previous answer stands as is. I have programmed several 12-port voicemails with a combo of DAS and VM ports.
