I have looked at all the relevant posts, and can't find an answer. After splitting the DB, I tried to distribute the FE to user workstations. When I try to start the applications, I get an error stating that the path (from the server (same for the development machine) is not valid. The copy is bringing the path with it.

I must be missing something simple, because I've used small applications and distributed them this way preveiously, with no problems.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Open the table MSysObjects. The field Datebase, contains the full path for linked tables. Take a look there and check your paths. You could also use the Linked Table Manager to relink all of them!

MSysObjects is a system table. If not visible go to Tools->Options and on View tab select System Objects

Hi JerryKlmns

Thanks for the post. The links were no problem once I changed the system directory. I didn't think to look there.
