Date Range Search 4 report 1

I have begun a new form for entering changes in my network. I need to run a report from this information that is based on a range of date (like sept 1 - sept 30) then have this information presented

I assume that the data for the report is based on a query? If so, then in the criteria of the date field put Between [Enter Start date] And [Enter end date]

I'm trying to do the same thing but my start and end dates are based on what the user enters into a form (textbox). I substituted in :

Between Forms![ReportParameters]![Text0].Text AND Forms![ReportParameters]![Text2].Text

but i get an error that says that it cant recognize Forms![ReportParameters]![Text0].Text as a valid field name.

so i have no clue what im doing wrong here, help, please
