Is it possible - when producing a paradox report (in this case as a table with the answers in rows)- to make the rows in the report different colours depending upon the data contained within them??

chrisfielder,

Unfortunately, this is something that's not easy to do with Paradox. It can be done with some report layouts, but either requires a lot of trickery using calculated fields or a great deal of work involving ObjectPAL, the enumeration of objects, and controlling their properies at runtime.

If you need this sort of control, it's much easier to export the data you need to a secondary merge file and then pull that into Quattro Pro/Excel or something else that provides more control over the way reports are printed. Alternatively, you could use an alternate report generator, such as Crystal Reports, one of the Delphi add-ins, or something along those lines.

And, yes, this is something that's been on the wish list for several versions. Unfortunately, it's not been high enough on the priority list to actually get some attention, either by Boroland or Corel.

Sorry...
