Hi, I'm trying to edit a report in Crystal Report XI, but the **** thing seems to crash on just about everything. Simply trying to run the report by clicking print or print preview would crash crystal. After hours or messing around, I found that by removing all the links on the database tables, the report would generate without crashing (but not all the data shows up of course).

Alternatively, I've tried creating the report from scratch, so that I can locate exactly what addition causes it to crash, but on my new report, the gui refuses to register any of the links I try click...

I'm using an XML datasource on a Windows 7 64 bit machine.

Any ideas what is going on??

Are you using Crystal XI (version 11.0.x) or XI r2 (version 11.5.x)? If it's just XI I would try upgrading to XI r2. Also, what type of connection are you using to connect to the XML data? You need to make sure it's a 32-bit connection and not a 64-bit connection.
