Crystal Reports 2008 ODBC error

I have been using Crystal 8.5 with the soft velocity ODBC driver ver 5.00 (and ver 3). Ive upgraded to Crystal 2008 and get the following error message when I use more than two tables. Failed to retrieve data from the database.
Details:42000:[SoftVelocity Inc.][TopSpeed ODBC Driver]Expected lexical element not found:<identifier> [Database Vendor Code: 10015].
This did not happen with Crystal 8.5
