Crystal 8.5 with Oracle 8.16 using Oracle ODBC connectivity

I currently have a simple report that counts the number of people on V_$SESSIONS at the top of each hour. It also means that I must run the report 11 times a day with 11 reports to capture the numbers I need to update an Excel spread sheet for graphing

Is there a way I can create a formula or loop that will run a subreport or count once an hour?

The report is on a scheduler with hourly option. I just want to create one report, not 11.

I would approach it from the db end.
Create a sp that captures the info to a table with a some sort of a key, like datetime.
Then schedule the report in Orcale to run every hour.
Crystal can report from that table and do the graphing.
That way you can also eliminate Excel from the reporting process.

Cheers
Fred

Thanks Fredp1,

I'll get with my dba and see if I can get something going.
