Upgraded to 4.1 and replaced 4624 with a 5610. One remote extension is having problems with CRM locking up. All local users are fine and dandy.

Remote user can make 1-2 calls then it freezes and you have to actually go into task manager and shut down the ap & restart it. Any ideas?

It worked without a hitch with the old set up. I've run the batch file and windows firewall is turned off on the pc. TIA

This has nothing to do with the ipoffice !
If the local users can work with it then it must be the remote location or the connection between

That doesn't make sense to me as it all worked just fine before the upgrade & phone swap out. That is the only thing that has changed.

Is there a difference in the ports that are used between 3.2 & 4.1 with the app?

Still it is a network issue
You are right it should work

Try 4.1.15, if i am right they are on 4.1.12 ?
If that does not work then try 4.2 if you have

4.2 works different in some strange way
I saw direct media path solved just by going from 4.1. to 4.2

Unfortunately I don't have 4.2. We're not a beta. But the client is not going to agree to another upgrade at this point. They are a 24 hr shop and we just did the .12 two days before .15 came out GRRR. It was a huge ordeal since we had to swap the 406 to begin with (memory) & their closet is a disaster (not our install originally). I have them trying a few things-like re-installing the CRM on her machine and verifying there are no empty listings in the devices. I was hoping there might be something simple that I overlooked. If you think of anything else let me know. Otherwise if these ideas don't fly it looks like I will have to convince them to upgrade again. Do you know if it works (.15) with remote users ok? I just don't want to get screamed at if it's jacked up too! LOL
TIA

I don't know
I was doing a problem with ipdect and had a private build but the 4.1.15 made the siptrunk stop working like it should
So also the pb did not work (it fixed the original problem)
Then just tried the 4.2 and suddenly everything was alright
So my guess is not to do the 4.1.15 if upgrading is a big problem

Let someone snif the network and see what happens with the CRM after 1 or 2 calls
