Hi,
I am trying to create a package in Delphi5.
I want to include both a purchased package (I only have the dcu files for this package) and existing source code that I have written, in the same package so that anyone else only needs to install one package.
The package editor seems to only allow .pas files to be added to the new package even though there is an option to add .dcu files. When I add .dcu files to the 'contains' field, then click 'compile' it tries to find the .pas file for that unit. Surely if the dcu file is there it doesnt need to recompile from the source??
Can anyone help with this issue?

Thanks.

Hi new2delphi,

If you own a PRO or superior edition of Delphi 5,
you are entitled to use the Package Collection Editor,
which would allow easy deployment of multiple packages.

Check it out.

Cheers,

Andrew
