Hi,
Not sure if this is the best place to post but anyway...
I need to create a calendar like you would see on a website for booking flights. See for an example. I just need a starting date to come up.
Would it be a button (on the homepage) which opens a new window with a table (the dates in the month) in it. Each day would have a link to have it displayed in the original page in the drop down menu. I don't know what language you would use to do that linking.
Also would I have to create a number of pages with a couple of months on them - I presume there is no code to automatically generate the months.
I'm a bit rusty on webpages. Haven't created one in a small while. Sorry for the stupid questions.
Or is there anywhere you could refer me to - to find the code to program this?
Any help at all would be appreciated.

You can do it quite easily using a mixture of HTML and javascript. If you search google with a mixture of the following keywords you'll come up with loads of examples:

javascript, calendar, date picker, DHTML

One that I've used recently (and it was very easy to implement and style) was one from:

I've modified it to select a date from an already populated drop down list instead of a text box as well.
