Hi Everyone,

I am new to the forum and new to the Nortel CS1000 as well. (My company has only had it for a few months.)

I hate to sound like such a newbie, but I am stuck. I have been asked to create a new CLID entry on the switch, but don't know how to do it. I have been shown how to print the CLID entries and change existing ones, but never how to add a new one. Can someone give me some pointers on how to do this?

Doing everything at the command line has been difficult for me as I am coming off of 5 years using the Interactive Intelligence Customer Interaction Center platform, which is all GUI based. The GUI for the Nortel system (Telephony Manager) doesn't seem to be very functional (at least for what I need to do)

I appreciate all of your time in reading this! Thanks in advance for your help!

The difficulties you are facing with the GUI is why most of us use Command Line!

Thanks for the info! Just one question. From my understanding from reading these documents, in order to create a new CLID entry, I am going to use CHG and select an entry number that is not being used. Is this correct?

Again, thanks for the help!

Correct.
