CPMG Question

Hi it is CS1k rls 7.6. We have lost the ROOT password and we need to proper shutdown the CPMG card for a maintenance activity. How can we shutdown CPMG if we dont have root password?? Further is there any document available mentioning the reset procedure of ROOT password?

In the NTP there is the process. It will require you to be onsite with the software. You put in your media software and restart the signaling server. Normally when you would type com1 to start the install, you would type recovery-com1, then follow the screen prompts to reset just the root password.

Other than that, to shut down, you can just unseat the card
