I'm using meet-me lines for dial in conferences that have DID numbers so people can call in from the outside. Does anyone know of a way to set it up so that if the conference has not been activated the caller can be diverted to a mailbox that plays a message or anything other than the fast busy tone they get by default?

Maybe setup a Unity Mailbox. And then point that DID to the Unity, then when people come in it will go and try to ring the Meet-Me conf, if the conf isn't available it should give a busy/not available tone and kick back to voicemail..

Just a thought..

You could also set up Cisco Conference Server that will allow you to have conferance bridges with always having to host the conference with an IP phone.

Just a thought.

Cisco Conference Connection is sweet. We use it and it works great.

Yeah, if you have a CCO account you can download CCC and get like 6 ports with it, you need a server to run the customer response apps though..

Is CCC something that is included in CCM or is it a purchased extra?

I've been itching to find a CCC license on e-bay to expand the 6 user version.
