Is there a way to automatically copy messages from one mailbox to another? I was looking to play the greeting from one mailbox and have the message stored in another. Thanks for any ideas.

In vm pro you can play a message then specify the mailbox the leave mail action sends caller to

Soopa Doopa Intergalactic IP Office installation mechanic and configuration corruptor from way back.

I did a quick test with leave mail but it played the greeting from the mailbox I rerouted it to not the original mailbox.

I'm looking for behavior that's identical to a copy messages feature on other systems.

I was going to copy the messages from a hunt group mailbox to a user's mailbox so she only had to check one mailbox.

Replace the recipients "Leave" start point with a custom callflow.

Start with something like a "Listen Action" or an "Edit Play List" with suitable prompts. Follow it with a generic action containing FWD:201#202## (or whatever the extension numbers need to be for the mailboxes that should receive the message copies.

Check the Tool tips on creating a distribution list for more info.
