Converting unknown Dat Database

Where I work there is 300mb Dat file, its a database with people names and address, I dunno which database could it be.

I need to convert or migrate the information into a new database and then develop a application for it.

I have never work with a database of this size and in a unknown format so any suggestions would be apreciate.

A hex pic of the first bytes of the file would be more informative then what you're showing from offset 14FA.

Mostly the first few bytes of a file would be some information about the file format, if it's not a raw format only containing data without any header information.
