Hi, Here's the setup:
- Workgroup environment
- ServerOne running VMPro and IPOManager
- ServerTwo running ContactStore

Created share on ServerOne:
c:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\VRL as share name: "VRL"

On ServerTwo:
Added the registry value of VRLDir as string with values (without the quotes):
"\\ServerOne\VRL" : The Voice Recording Library path is invalid or unreachable.
Then tried (after mapping a drive as 'S'):
"S:" : The Voice Recording Library path is invalid or unreachable.
Then re-tried with:
"S:\" : The Voice Recording Library path is invalid or unreachable.

Of course, I can access the share on ServerOne from ServerTwo with ease.

I just don't get it!? Anyone knows what's wrong in my settings (or Avaya documentation)?

Thx again!

i have done this and there are 2 things i did to make it work. make sure your contact store service starts with a user name that has permission to access the sare. also on the reg key use the IP. i did \\10.10.10.10\VRL. if login on server 1 with administrator then set the service to start with administrator and use the same password.

Thx Kwing112000!
What I did is set the logon for the service. Since I don't really like using IP addresses I've set the registry key for the share to \\ServerTwo\VRL and it's now up and running!

Thx a lot!
