ok, I'm working on a kiosk for an installation, we want a user to be able to surf about on the net at will, however, we want to keep a banner present on whatever page they are on, is there an easy way to do this? Possibly set up a command that always sends a new page to a specific target window?

thanks

The short answer is to use frames, but of course many pages will "break out" of their frame anyway.

I suspect you will have to use a custom browser, which can be as simple as a VB program that users the browser control and a few controls for the address field, back/next/stop/refresh buttons, etc.

That's basically what those expensive kiosk software doohickeys are anyway.

thanks for the reply, the problem I've been having is exactly that, pages "break out" of their frames... Could you please be more specific about custom browsers? (I admit, my knowledge level is so base that I don't even know what a "VB program" is...) Essentially, that is what I'm trying to do, I have a navitgation .fla that sends a specified frame to the address input within a dynamic text box, but pages "break out" on a regular basis, rendering it pretty much useless. thanks again
