I have a database that is going to be used by several field marketing reps in the field. I need a way to take the data in the individual field rep databases and copy it into a large master database which has an identical structure.

Honestly, I don't even know where to start with this one. I have just been asked to do it out of the blue.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

It may be overkill for your needs but have you considered replication? Your copy of the db would be the master and you could then create numerous replicated copies for your field staff. These could then be synchronized with your master copy.

There's an excellent "Replication 101" article by Debra Dove that you'll probably find if you search msdn.microsoft.com for database replication in Microsoft Jet [pc2]

Why would replication be overkill for my needs? It actually sounds like exactly what I need... :)
