Hey Guys,

We have inherited a customer that is using the Console.net at 2 of their locations. Today, for whatever reason both stores started having trouble. We suspect the old vendor has done something to the systems but, none of this can be proven nor do we have the time to chase down that rabbit.

The first site can't save any contacts in the system. They use this to transfer callers to the employees cell. The ones that are there work as they should but none can be added. The server function is resident on the machine that the console is running on. When you open the web page it connects to localhost:9000. It sounds like a permission issue on the database file but, we aren't familiar with this program and are sure where everything exist.

At the second site the server portion of the program will not start either automatically or manually so the entire console is down. Repeated rebooting of the machine has no effect. The internal firewall is turned off and not blocking any ports, it sounds like the service is missing a component or it has gotten corrupted.

Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Mike

Maybe they upgraded the BCM's?
When you upgrade something you must make sure all devices or software attached are compatible or upgraded as well.

Just a thought otherwise I dont know.

It appears the Access database has reached its limits. Is there a way to compact or flush the database?

Thanks,

Mike
