Configuration problem on new machine

I just purchased a laptop which came with Norton Antivirus ver. 10.0.1.13 running on Windows XP SP1.

When I log in as administrator on the laptop which is hooked up to my network, Norton's runs fine no error messages. When my user logs on using his name, I get the message: "Norton AntiVirus configuration is not complete. You must have administrator privileges to complete the configuration using the Information Wizard."

After logging on as administrator, I ran all of the updates and virus checks to be sure the machine was clean and the setup is complete.

Any ideas how I can get the user setup so this messages stops coming up?

Thanks for the help.

Increase the user to have admin rights on local box. Log it in. then remove access rights.

This should sort it,

Iain

I did add the user to the administration group on the pc, it still did not clear it up.

I am not sure if I may have missed a step or not.
