Hello,

Seeking advice one what the going rates are for Web Design. Per hour? Per page? Im working with a Freelance builder and want to compensate him appropriately. What do they typically charge for adding updates once the site is launched?

Thanks all in advance!

There's not enough input to give a meaningful answer. The wage could range from $5/hour to $1000+/hour. This all depends on the capabilities of the web worker, the region and the going rates within.

Its a simple informational business website, nothing fancy. About 4 pages with a basic form. With periodic updates.

I didn't mean that you needed to describe more here. I meant that you need to survey your region to see what most people are paying. For such a basic site, the individual would probably need to compete with pricing from a no-brainer service like Squarespace.

Agreed. The other thing we need to know is what country you he is in. Rates vary enormously in different parts of the world. What would be a good rate in Bangalore would be considered peanuts in Baltimore, for example.
