Hi guys

We've got a Cisco 3600 router that's being used as a RAS. The RAS verifies users dialling in by comparing the dial in username and password with the network domain username and password.

When our people dial in, they can't see network resources unless they've given their PC a DNS suffix. We would like the RAS to give all users dial in an automatic DNS suffix, so that we don't have to manually give each dial in PC a DNS suffix.

Anyone know the command that does this?

Thanks

Hi

Try this
ip domain-name mydomainename
ip name-server x.x.x.x
Your dialer will receive the DNS address IP X.X.X.X
