Does anyone know the default dadmin password after the authentication file is installed on CM4.0, the usual one is not working.

Cheers

Did you enable dadmin logging in RFA? and then install both files then do a reset system 4. if you didnt add the user in the web youll have to reload CM. there are some past threads related to this.

In my case the dadmin password was set by the BP when they got the license and auth files for me. I had to ask them.

In CM4.0 you have to create the dadmin first using the Administrator Account using the WEB interface, select the ch login dadmin and added in the susers group, enter a password that you wish and select shell access, then you have to install the license, after that you can access via ASA and check with the list users that you're login is now as profile 2

Check the documentation for CM4.0

but the BP would have to do this, i cant add a dadmin login due to my permissions. i will verify again.

That is correct, the dadmin should be loaded by the business partner. That BP should also create an admin account for you the customer, because the dadmin should only be used by the BP not the customer.

i have my own which has the maint msp's turned on. i guess i need to have them add thier own. thanks
