Clone button for TV out is grayed out

Hi all,
I hope someone can help me here. I am using 64mb MX400 with TV out on XP and was cloning to a big TV without any problems but now the clone button is grayed out.
Extended desktop works fine but even with Restore cannot get a clone to work. Was using V29 and now using Version 43 detonator with same results.
It's probably something simple but it has me beat!

My card is the FX 5200 so I hope the setups are similar...

First ensure that your connections between the video card and the tv are tight...take them off and reconnect to be sure. There is a "detect" button in the display properties in "advanced". Use this to see if it can re-find your tv...if not reboot and try again...sometime it can be abit finicky!

Thanks for the reply bradds but I did mention "Extended Desktop" works fine. I can use the TV as my extended desktop but I cannot "clone" it as the button is grayed
out.
What I want is the same image on my screen as the TV. Watching DVD etc.
