Is there a command to verify if an object has been allocated? If not, what's the best way to check for this? re-issue an ALCOBJ and monitor for error?
Thanks.

What type of object? File, program, data area?

Solum potestis prohibere ignes silvarum.

WRKOBJLCK Obj(MyLib/MyDtaara) ObjType(*DTAARA) can fit your needs. Using QWCLOBJL API can also be an option
However re-issuing the same ALCOBJ and monitor for error isn't a bad idea though.
