Hello,
I have a Win2K3 SBS server using Tapeware to back up to a HP C7438A tape drive using 72GB cartridges. However, every backup spits out a warning that the block size is too large for physical transfer, or even for the buffer. It recommends that I edit the tapeware.ini file, using the device name as a header. I'm nto sure what I should edit the config file with, or what blocksize I should specify.
I'm thinking something along the lines of:
[Dev-3.0.3.0: HP C7438A]
blocksize=4kb
But again, I'm uncertain if this is the correct format, or an appropriate size. Does anyone have any ideas?
Much appreciated!
