Change the file date

Hi,

I am restoring files from a series of backup tapes and for some reason some of the files keep the restore date rather than their actual mod dates or backup dates.

This is not too much of a problem but if I could change the dates to match the other files it would make life a bit easier.

Is there a way of changing the file dates?

Hi,

Sorry its been many years since I used IRIX, but surely it contains the "touch" command. Do a man touch.
