CDR Logs removed / missing

Good day to all,

I have an existing server S8730 with CM 5x and a cdr where it is dump to the external hard disk of the S8730 server. We have a recent changed where we synchronize the server with the NTP server. After doing that process we noticed that the cdr logs that is dated March 15, 2010 is missing. My question is does the changes we have made affected the CDR logs and was erased. This is the only date missing if you will look into the cdr logs I have copied below. Are there any ways to retrieve the data that was lost and if not what is the possible cause as to why it does not have any records for that certain dates. I really appreciate all your efforts in giving me advise or enlightening me with all your inputs.
