Here is our problem. We have a Microcall Call Accounting system that initially was only capturing data for two locations, via ip connectivity. Worked very well, however we just added 3 more sites and now we have some overlapping extensions and trunk groups of course. So, rather than purchase a new system is it possible to change the cdr formats in phone system to take care of this. Currently we are using the expanded format in the cdr parameters. My thought is that if we changed it to custom we could put an additional item in front of each extension so that the call accounting system could identify which switch the extension is located in. Each site, a different code hopefully getting rid of our overlapping problem. Any help, as always, is appreciated.

Not only does Microcall support defective equipment, if you have a current maintenance agreement - they support all customized sorftware configurations based on customer requests.

I used to have Microcall awhile back, and we had some interesting configs that they helped us walk through, but w/o playing with it it's difficult to remember.

I would give them a call - they're pretty good.

Hope this helps,
Chris
