i have a major alarm on card-mem , when i run test card mem it passes all tests. when i try a save -trans it says internal translation data is corrupted. what do i need to do to delete this alarm

I'd be calling Avaya. Software corruption is never good. Have you tried using another PCMCIA card and save trans to it?
