I would like to 1 of 2 things. Either have it setup that when i startup Procomm it automatically starts the capture process buy itself, or have to where it starts up to a Data connection that is under the Rapid Connect section of Data. Can anyone please help?

Thanks

To have the capture file turned on automatically, you would use the capture ON command in a script. You would need to either close the capture file manually when you are done or have a second script that runs later to close the capture file with the capture OFF command to save the data to disk. You might also want to review the various set capture commands to see if any of those apply to your situation.

To dial a connection in the Connection Directory, you would use these commands:

while $DIALING
yield
endwhile

Additionally, in the Connection Directory entry you are dialing, you can click on the Basic Options button, select a capture file, click on the associated Setup button, and click the Start capture on connection checkbox to have a capture file started automatically.

To do either, you'll need to modify the startup.was script so that the commands you want are executed whenever Procomm launches, or you could use the chain command in the startup.was script to launch a script that performed the operations you wanted.
