can't change network to full duplex

I have a ultra 10 machine connected to a 10 base hub. But for some reason the network card will not change to full duplex. I've tried ndd -set ..... but every time the link_mode appeats as 0.

This may be a problem I cannot do a dhcp to get onto the net.

The hub may not support full duplex. Ian
