Cannot print large font to DesignJet Printer 1

Am communicating this problem for a friend who doesn't currently have Web access.

She is using Adobe Illustrator, Printing to a Wide HP DesignJet Printer. If she prints on regular letter sized paper, she has no problem with her fonts printing. However, when she attempts to print the same enlarged to 13 x 19 paper size, her fonts do not print at all of the page.

Likely source of the problem ?

I have noticed this on my DesignJet 500 when running CorelDraw and *LARGE* print documents. THe fonts drop off... probably because the printer is running out of memory.

My solution (that has worked in the past) is to turn down the quality; it still has great output, but it prints all the fonts then. Try that.
